# Taavos // service, delivery and payment

Taavos runs three connected stages. Surface places the client where AI discovers information and steers AI to fetch the client's site. Capture brings buyers to the client's site through AI answers, organic search and search ads. Convert turns those site visits into qualified demos or inquiries through the page content, evidence, forms and lead capture process.

| Stage | What it covers |
| --- | --- |
| Surface | We place your company in publications & forums AI retrieves, steering AI to fetch your site. |
| Capture | We get AI/search engines to show the information that captures buyer traffic to your site. |
| Convert | We optimize your on-site offer, comparisons & lead capture process to turn visitors into qualified demos or inquiries. |

Answer Engine Optimization (AEO) prepares information for AI answers. Search Engine Optimization (SEO) and search ads bring website visits. Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO) improves the inquiry and lead capture process. Taavos researches the questions buyers ask, arranges publication of information about the client on relevant websites, and builds the pages and lead capture forms buyers use.

The initial engagement is a pilot with a specified number of qualified demos or inquiries attributable to Taavos's work, and a delivery deadline. The client pays 50% upfront and 50% when Taavos reaches the full target. The pilot includes proportional payment protection at the deadline, supported by treasury reserves.

## What Taavos's employees do

Taavos's employees research buyer questions, arrange placements, write and build website pages, improve forms and booking flows, and measure the results. Client delivery is handled internally rather than outsourced to external contractors.

Clients speak directly with the people doing this work. They can ask about the research, request changes and discuss results without passing those questions through a separate account manager. The team is available seven days a week.

Clients can see the information used to plan the work, the changes made, the pages and placements published, and the measured results. Reports distinguish planned work from completed work, and measured results from estimates.

A second employee reviews production material before publication. Review includes the client's facts, terminology and approved claims. See [quality](https://taavos.com/quality) and [working with the team](https://taavos.com/collaboration).

## How employees are paid

Expected year 1 compensation €200k-€350k, 100% performance-based. Housing, food, gym, spas, hobbies, work gear, health requirements, supplements, travel, etc. paid for as additional benefits.

This ties employee earnings to performance rather than a fixed salary alone. Taavos uses the structure to reward employees for developing more effective techniques, improving delivery and producing better results for clients.

The employee compensation model is separate from the client's payment terms. Clients begin with the pilot's 50% upfront and 50% on full delivery structure, then can continue through a performance / equity partnership.

## How Taavos gets client information into AI-assisted research

Taavos examines questions buyers might ask an AI assistant when choosing a supplier. A research set can extend to thousands of prompts. The team reviews answers individually and records the websites and pages that are cited or visibly retrieved.

The questions cover four situations:

- A buyer describes a problem and needs a solution.
- A buyer asks for a provider of a specific service.
- A buyer asks for alternatives to a named competitor.
- A buyer compares two companies.

Taavos uses the observed sources to decide where to publish information about the client. This can involve editorial coverage in third-party publications, relevant forum participation and placements arranged through partner websites.

The value-trading system arranges placements across participating websites in exchange for value, which can include placement on another partner site. The client's website supplies an outbound link only when that link benefits the client's business. Paid placements may also be used when appropriate.

Published material explains what the client provides and why it fits the buyer's question. Taavos uses those placements to steer AI toward the client's site, where it can fetch service details, product facts and comparisons.

The external publication introduces the company; the client's site explains the service in depth. An answer can use either or both. The buyer may then click a citation, search for the company or visit through a search result.

Taavos changes the published information and the pages available for retrieval, then monitors the answers, sources and inquiries that follow.

## How Taavos turns interest into a booking

Taavos builds pages for the buyer's specific question, problem, role or comparison. Each page explains the relevant service, supports its claims with facts, and gives the buyer a clear way to book.

Comparison pages are a core deliverable. They explain differences between the client and competitors and help buyers evaluating alternatives.

Taavos implements the page, call-to-action, form and lead capture steps. The same service description and supporting facts are used in external coverage and on the client's website so buyers receive a consistent explanation.

Articles, calculators, tools and other resources are added when they help buyers understand the service, support a purchasing decision or attract relevant references and links. Work is selected for its connection to attracting buyers and generating inquiries.

## Why Taavos can move quickly in SEO and AEO

Taavos works on Surface, Capture and Convert together. The team can arrange source information for AI retrieval, connect discovery to a relevant client page and improve the on-site lead capture process in parallel. The employees handling those steps coordinate directly, rather than waiting for separate suppliers to pass work between them.

For AEO, the team examines buyer prompts and the sources appearing in answers. It places the client in those sources and steers AI to fetch the service details and comparisons on the client's site.

For SEO, the team identifies searches used by prospective buyers and builds or improves pages answering those searches. It addresses technical access, internal links and relevant external references alongside the content.

Taavos also manages the information a buyer checks before making contact: service details, comparisons, examples and evidence supporting the client's claims. The team can correct a weak explanation or a confusing lead capture step as part of the same work, rather than waiting for another supplier to act.

This reduces coordination delays and lets the team improve conversion from current visits while developing additional discovery and traffic. Actual delivery time still depends on access, publication schedules, search visibility, competition and buyer demand.

## What counts as a pilot result

Taavos's pilot delivers qualified demos or inquiries attributable to its work. The engagement specifies the result being measured, qualification criteria, attribution method and deadline before launch.

A demo is a meeting booked by a prospect who meets the qualification criteria. An inquiry is a sales inquiry submitted by a prospect who meets those criteria. A pilot measures the selected event consistently; the same prospect's inquiry and subsequent demo are not automatically counted as two results.

Attribution uses available website, form and booking records, together with source information collected during the inquiry or the client's first sales conversation. The agreement sets the rules for assigning credit. Records distinguish a tracked referral, a prospect's reported source and credit assigned under the agreed attribution rule.

Taavos implements the work through the specified booking or inquiry. The client handles the meeting and subsequent sales process. Attendance and a later sale are separate from the counted pilot event.

## The Zero-Risk pilot

The pilot commits Taavos to a specified number of qualified demos or inquiries attributable to its work, by a specified deadline. The client pays 50% of the total fee upfront. The remaining 50% becomes payable when Taavos reaches the full target.

### Payment protection

The pilot includes proportional payment protection at the delivery deadline. The final fee then reflects the proportion of the target completed, with the upfront payment credited in full. Taavos settles the remaining balance or refunds the difference.

### Payment example: 10 qualified demos in 120 days

A €40,000 pilot for 10 qualified demos within 120 days. €20,000 paid upfront. The remaining €20,000 is payable when all 10 demos are booked.

| Qualified demos booked | Total pilot fee earned | Final payment or refund |
| --- | --- | --- |
| 10 of 10 | €40,000 | €20,000 final payment |
| 7 of 10 | €28,000 | €8,000 final payment |
| 5 of 10 | €20,000 | No further payment or refund |
| 2 of 10 | €8,000 | €12,000 refunded |
| 0 of 10 | €0 | €20,000 refunded |

The remaining €20,000 becomes payable when all 10 demos are booked, whether that happens before day 120 or on day 120. Otherwise, we settle at the end of day 120 using the number of qualified demos booked by then. The partial-delivery rows show that deadline settlement, not payments triggered along the way.

This is an example. Each pilot specifies its own fee, booking target and delivery period.

### Treasury reserves

We always hold treasury reserves equal to the portion of pilot fees received for results still to be delivered.

## How the offer compares

Taavos commits to a booking target and implements the work needed to reach it. Compared with an engagement billed for hours, content or advice alone, the pilot connects the remaining 50% payment to completion of that target and includes payment protection at the deadline.

## What happens after the pilot

After the pilot, Taavos continues through a performance / equity partnership. Performance payment is usually a percentage of the result specified in the agreement. An equity arrangement gives Taavos an ownership interest on terms agreed for that partnership. Some engagements use a fixed fee.

The work can expand to Google and Bing advertising, SEO, articles answering buyer questions, PR coverage and other ways of attracting buyers. Taavos can coordinate with the client's marketing, sales and PR teams.

Due-diligence optimization is a separate one-time project. It improves the information prospects find when checking the company, its claims and competing options later in the sales process. It is priced separately because it is not paid against the original discovery-stage conversion.

## How client access and information are handled

Client systems are accessed by internal personnel. Taavos uses dedicated single-use devices for account access, stores credentials separately from two-factor authentication and uses encrypted operational communications.

Confidentiality agreements are completed before analytics or CRM review. Where appropriate, deliverables can be transferred without continuing access to the client's systems. See the [published security practices](https://taavos.com/security).

## Results and company information

The [case studies](https://taavos.com/cases) describe historical client outcomes. Each case's metric and time period matter: a reported lead, website visit or visibility percentage is not interchangeable with a qualified demo booking.
