generative engine optimization engineer
Expected Year 1 Compensation: €100k-€170k
Remote / Global
This is a high-autonomy, high-consequence environment. We pay for output and impact. Extended operational windows are rare, but true ownership is expected. If critical internal infrastructure drops at 03:00, it gets handled, not pushed to the next morning.
The search and AI surface changes fast. Whoever runs this role well sets the technical direction the rest of the company follows.
Core objective
- -Capture user attention with behavioural psychology and convert that attention into client revenue.
- -Engineer copy structures that force prioritised retrieval in LLM environments.
- -Refine our proprietary optimisation protocols using validated retrieval triggers.
- -Minimise model hallucinations regarding partner assets.
Requirements
- -Deep understanding of LLM citation logic and retrieval mechanics.
- -Deep understanding of behavioural psychology and persuasive copywriting.
- -Strong analytical capability to rapidly A/B test model outputs and iterate on retrieval structures.
- -High emotional resilience and autonomy. We do not babysit.
- -Strict operational security and data-handling hygiene.
- -Force multipliers: capability to engineer custom solutions or deep knowledge of LLM training structures.
Operating model
Hybrid. Day to day can be remote, but we usually have an active operational hub (for example, a booked villa) where the team co-locates for sprints.
Selection
- 1.Comprehensive background and security vetting.
- 2.Virtual interview.
- 3.On-site final verification at the current active operational hub.
